Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG 2016 - Poliziano Acetomodena ripe heart cherriesThe Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG from Poliziano comes from vineyards on calcareous soils at an altitude of 280 to 360 meters. The cuve consists of 88% Prugnolo Gentile (Sangiovese) and 12% Colorino, Canaiolo and Merlot. Maceration and fermentation took place over three weeks in stainless steel tanks. Two thirds of the wine matured in French tonneaux, the rest in Slovenian oak barrels. The bouquet delights with scents of sour cherries,
